Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is hiring a Part-Time Paramedic (Physician Substitute) at our Columbus, IN site. You will be a key member of the lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll help create a positive environment for the team and donors.

You will work with center staff, cross-train in phlebotomy and other center functions, and have opportunities to take on new responsibilities as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED; valid Paramedic license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-trained in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation; potential to earn more.
