Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Paramedic (Physician Substitute) to ensure donor health and safety at the Indiana site. You’ll screen donors, perform exams, and work with center staff to create a welcoming, efficient donor experience. Candidates must be licensed as Paramedics, hold CPR/BLS, and be able to lift 50 lbs; weekend availability preferred to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed paramedic in this state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Weekends availability to support center operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor experience.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy, processing, and station setup.
