Job summary

CNM Central New Mexico Community College seeks part-time instructors to teach Paralegal Studies courses across multiple terms. Faculty are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and maintaining records to support student success.

Hours vary by class and term; this regular pool is not a guarantee of employment. Compensation is based on education and courses taught, with benefits as described in the college’s offerings.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree or Post-degree certificate in Paralegal Studies or higher from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for a diverse student population including students with disabilities or special learning needs.
• Maintain student records and provide documentation for in-completes within College timelines.
• Utilize technology-based programs to access and input information related to student records and processes.
• Assist students with registration, advising, and graduation processes.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
• Attend in-service sessions and department meetings as required.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
