Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Specialist to support stores within a 25-mile radius of Lafayette, LA. You will assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, and help maintain high store standards.

The role emphasizes sales goals, accurate transactions, and teamwork with wholesale and retail clients. Multilingual ability, including Spanish, is a plus for serving diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with store policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas; pull products from floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Stay knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures; suggest ways to improve sales.
