Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc in San Antonio, TX, invites a Pain Management Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our outpatient team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week). The APP will perform comprehensive pain assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and support interventional and noninterventional pain services.

You will collaborate with pain management physicians, orthopedic and spine specialists, and the care team to improve patient access, outcomes, and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas licensure as an NP or PA.
• National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP or NCCPA for PA).
• BLS required; ACLS and additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pain focused evaluations with histories and exams.
• Develop and document individualized care plans including interventional options.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-ups to ensure timely care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with standards.
