Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU Unit at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. This part‑time, day shift offers 9‑hour shifts (11:30am–9:30pm) with on‑call duties every tenth weekend and a sign‑on bonus for qualified applicants.

The RN will provide skilled nursing care in a busy PACU setting, utilizing the nursing process, knowledge of standards of practice, and effective communication with the team.

Qualifications

• RN must have a Virginia license or a Compact Multi-State license.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in PACU or perioperative care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance.
• Coordinate care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation for patients.
