Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital — Park Ridge, IL is seeking a part-time RN to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The role requires 2+ years in ED/ICU/PACU, with 20 hours per week across two 10-hour shifts starting at 11am. ACLS and PALS are required, BLS for healthcare providers is also expected.

ACLS is required at hire, PALS within 6 months, and new grads are not being considered. Shared call responsibilities apply, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED, ICU or PACU experience is required.
• ACLS and PALS required or to be obtained within specified time after hire.
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
