Job summary

UPS is looking for a capable supervisor to oversee safety, production and attendance while developing teams and maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.

The role emphasizes building strong working relationships across all levels, facilitating training, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equival ent preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel and coaches their growth.
