Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler in Minnesota. The role focuses on loading, unloading, and sorting freight to ensure timely deliveries. The position requires standing and lifting, with shifts Tuesday-Saturday 6:00AM-9:30AM or Monday-Friday 4:30PM-8:30PM.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, experience-based, with benefits including a 401(k) plan. Must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
