Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time overnight caregiver for evenings that include Friday and Saturday shifts. You will assist residents with daily living activities, transport them within the community, and respond to emergencies with a calm, attentive approach.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and state requirements; CPR is preferred, and experience with the elderly is a plus. Benefits include insurance options, 401(k), paid time off, and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Review and adhere to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs
