Job Overview

Cub Blaine East is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time cashier position. Cashiers at Cub follow front-end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintain positive customer relations, and process all orders expediently. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
2. Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly.
3. Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly.
4. Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
5. Assist with customer questions or requests.
6. Maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.

Job Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Skills in memorization, reading, writing, and math.
• Provide ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediately available.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions.

• 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
