Job description

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our Front Office team. We offer two regular overnight shifts per week, preferably on Friday and Saturday. Competitive salaries and a part-time benefits program are available.

What will I be doing?

The Night Manager oversees hotel operations during overnight hours, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction through administrative, guest relations, and security duties.

What are my essential job functions?
Guest Services:
  • Maintain guest service standards and respond to reviews, implementing service recovery as needed.
  • Handle inquiries, reservations, and promote hotel offerings to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Foster guest relations by providing timely and knowledgeable responses.
  • Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and transportation to enhance guest experience.
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
Front Desk Duties:
  • Manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Address guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with various needs such as luggage and inquiries.
Financial / Cost Control:
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Maintain precise hotel records of financial transactions.
Employee Relations:
  • Assist in performance evaluations and staffing needs.
  • Provide local recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure proper communication and training within the team.
Administrative Duties:
  • Complete daily checklists and logs.
  • Participate in hotel management programs and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility for long hours and overnight shifts.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Minimum two years' supervisory experience or four years' front office experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows and hotel management software; Marriott and LightSpeed experience preferred.
