Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Phlebotomist- Outpatient - IRP to join the University Hospital | Outpatient Customer Service team. You will collect specimens, label and process them, and support point-of-care testing where applicable in multiple outpatient sites around Columbus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection for specimens.
• Label, process and dispatch specimens to testing locations.
• Greet and guide patients through the lab and collect necessary information.
• May perform point-of-care testing and maintain quality control.
