Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to service stores in Ohio, including St Marys and Sidney. You will display and water outdoor plants, maintain displays, and help manage signage and safety in busy garden centers.

The role requires physical outdoor work in varying weather, reliable transportation, and use of mobile apps to document visits. This seasonal position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Part-time, seasonal role.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Use of mobile app for reporting visits.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with floral department for support
• Ensure proper signage in displays
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interact with store personnel and customers
• Develop positive working relationships with store management
• Complete reports for each store serviced
• Document visits using the Go Spot Check app
