Job summary

The City of Grandview Heights, Ohio is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker in the Service Department. The role involves operating a range of equipment, maintaining streets and sewers, and collecting waste for disposal.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to work outside in heat and adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as utility vehicles and dump trucks.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Careful and safe operation of a variety of heavy/light motorized equipment.
• Care and maintenance of city streets and sewers.
• Collection of solid waste, yard waste and recyclables.
• Other related duties as assigned.
