Southeastern Freight Lines is looking for a part-time PT Outbound Freight Handler in North Augusta, SC. You will load and unload freight, prepare trailers, and help ensure safe handling and accurate documentation throughout the shipping process.

Role requires a HS diploma or GED, ability to pass background and drug tests, and preferred forklift or warehouse experience. Pay ranges $18.70–$22.20 per hour, with a second shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a background check and an alcohol/drug test.
• Prior experience as Forklift Operator, Dock or Warehouse Worker, or Material Handler preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload freight onto and off of equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading freight.
• Weigh and dimension shipments to ensure proper classification and safe handling.
• Plan cube utilization and weight distribution when loading freight.
• Review freight bills and manifests for instructions and exceptions.
• Check hazardous material descriptions and placarding when applicable.
• Block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport.
