Job summary

Mott Community College seeks an experienced faculty member to teach lecture and laboratory portions of mental health and other OTA courses. You will align with the approved program curriculum and objectives, while assessing student learning and maintaining professional standards.

Required are an OTA credential (ACOTE-accredited program) with licensure or eligibility and a minimum of three years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

ACOTE-accredited OTA program graduate with OTA credential and Michigan licensure or eligibility.
Minimum three years of recent, relevant, full-time clinical experience.
Ability to teach both lecture and laboratory components and adhere to program objectives.
Wamiliarity with safety, professional standards, and assessment of learning outcomes.
Ability to develop and deliver instruction for diverse student backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Teach lecture and/or laboratory portions of OTA courses per curriculum.
Assess student outcomes and teaching effectiveness; participate in program improvement.
Maintain licensure/credential status and comply with Perkins program requirements.
Engage in professional development and collegial activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and program quality.
