Job summary

Atrium Health University City Acute Care Rehabilitation Team in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer OT services for patients recovering from a range of conditions. The role includes 8a - 4:30p shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

You will supervise OT assistants and other staff, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with physicians and family to optimize recovery and safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OT from an accredited OT program required.
• Applicable state OT license required; BLS per policy guidelines.
• Experience supervising OT staff is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers OT programs on physician referral.
• Plans and conducts OT programs to restore function and independence.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, technicians, students, and volunteers.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, discharge plans and outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care with physicians and the care team.
