Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time role in Texas. You will assist patients in the home to improve daily living and motor functions, following physician orders and the established plan of care.

Experience with Medicare home health is preferred. The position offers a collaborative environment with a focus on growth and continuing education within a leading home-based care provider.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services approval based on prior experience setting.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve the functions of performing everyday tasks and basic motor functions.
• Administer skilled care per physicians' orders and established plan of care, teaching family and health care team members.
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director; part-time salaried position works 24 hours/week over 4 days.
