HAND IN HAND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY OF LONG ISLAND is the premier adult & pediatric occupational therapy group on Long Island, owned and operated by Dr. Noha A. Elfar, OTD, OTR/L, CHT. Our therapists provide one-on-one therapeutic interventions focusing on the rehabilitation and recovery from hand/arm injuries or diseases. We offer compassionate care, respect, and integrity to our patients in a family-like atmosphere.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Occupational Therapist role located in Hauppauge, NY. The OT will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions, evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapy sessions in accordance with individual needs and goals in a hand therapy clinic.

Hours
  • Monday: 2pm-7pm
  • Friday: 9am-1pm
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • One year experience in hand therapy preferred
  • Must be a "people person"
  • Experience in evaluating patients and creating treatment plans
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and practices in an outpatient setting
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a group setting
  • Occupational Therapy License in New York
