Job summary

Fairleigh Dickinson University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking adjunct professors to teach graduate-level courses within the Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. The selected candidate will teach courses covering OT concepts, advocacy, healthcare management, pediatric rehabilitation and/or adult rehabilitation.

The classes will be held during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters, meeting in-person on weekdays with a three-hour teaching commitment per week and available

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related field.
  • At least two years of clinical OT experience.
  • NBCOT certification and NJ OT licensure eligibility.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to varied learning styles.
  • Prior teaching experience preferred.
  • Employment contingent on background check.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level OT courses.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback.
  • Offer office hours and supervise coursework.
  • Deliver instruction across Spring, Summer, and Fall terms.
