Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Acute Rehab Unit in Festus, MO is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will provide patient-centered OT services, develop programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and functional independence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, active OT license or eligibility (temporary license up to 90 days), and current BLS. National Board Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed OT programs to achieve maximum potential.
• Demonstrates treatment skills within the scope of the State Practice Act and in compliance with governing bodies.
• Promotes growth and development of the department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
