Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson Acute Rehab Unit in Festus, MO is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide patient care within the scope of state practice. You will organize and conduct medically prescribed programs, collaborate with the care team, and support departmental growth through special projects and program coordination.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited OT degree, an active OT license or eligibility, and current BLS certification, with NBOT preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in the hiring state (temporary license up to 90 days).
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of the department by assisting in special projects.
• Coordinate activities in patient care programs.
