Job summary

Lincoln Memorial University is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in the DCOM Clinical Medicine department. The successful candidate will teach the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, lead skills labs for residents and students, and design procedural training to enhance clinical competencies.

Requirements include an MD/DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine and OMM and Tennessee licensure.

Qualifications

• D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Family Medicine and OMM.
• Able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.
• Preferred qualifications include a DO degree and Tennessee licensure, plus minimum of 5 years of clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Teach LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and deliver procedural training sessions for residents and students.
• Lead and facilitate skills labs for residents and students at GME partner institutions.
• Provide clinical service and bedside teaching for students in the clinical setting; contribute to scholarly activity.
• Promote the department's mission, participate in committee work as required, and mentor medical and other students.
• Develop and evaluate courses, lectures, and clinical educational activities in LMU-DCOM.
