Job summary

Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Knoxville seeks a Part Time Assistant/Associate/Professor of OB/GYN. The appointee will teach LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, perform clinical duties, and engage in scholarly activity to support the medical education mission.

Required qualifications include an MD/DO with OB/GYN board certification and Tennessee licensure eligibility within the first year; unrestricted license and malpractice coverage maintained.

Qualifications

• D.O./M.D. degree with OB/GYN board certification.
• Tennessee medical license eligibility within the first year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promote the LMU-DCOM mission to faculty, staff, students and community.
• Foster strong working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
• Establish curriculum, subject matter and methods of instruction for medical education.
• Contribute to planning, development and evaluation of courses and programs at LMU-Knoxville.
• Provide clinical service and bedside teaching for students in clinical settings.
• Supervise students during patient care events and clinical activities.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate on committees as required.
• Complete institutional and program accreditation reports as needed.
