Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor at 0.2 FTE for the Arizona Campus in Glendale, AZ. The incumbent will teach clinical skills, lecture, and participate in standardized patient testing and clerkship rotations.

The role requires board certification or eligibility with AOA or ABMS, and a commitment to curricular development, OSCEs, and student mentoring within AZCOM's four-year program.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility for AOA or ABMS certification.
• Experience teaching medical students or residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in curricular planning and faculty retreats.
• Teach clinical lectures and develop learning objectives.
• Proctor/score Osteopathic Standardized Patient Examinations and OSCEs.
• Mentor students and participate in applicant interviews.
• Remain current and board certified in your specialty.
