Premise Health Inc. in Celebration, FL is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join an outpatient orthopedic clinic providing 1:1 care with two experienced Physical Therapists.

This 20-hour-per-week position offers hands-on clinical work and close collaboration with patients and teammates. You will administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, assist with ambulation and activities of daily living, and document patient progress.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Licensed PTA in practicing state required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope.
• Minimum of two years' outpatient orthopedic/ambulatory care experience.
• Experience in occupational health clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer active and passive manual therapy, modalities, and thermotherapy.
• Assist patients with gait, transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress for PT review.
• Assist with fitting and training in orthotic devices and mobility aids.
• Collaborate with PT staff and health care team for plan-of-care discussions.
• Perform clerical duties such as supplies management and phone duties.
