Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, seeks a Part-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our orthopedic team serving South and Central Austin including Kyle.

The midlevel will provide comprehensive non-surgical care in a clinic setting, with responsibilities spanning exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient education in collaboration with physicians.

No surgical duties; approximately 24 hours per week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PA license.
• 1–2 years orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up and health education.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; documents care plans and prescriptions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Provides patient and family education regarding plan of care and medications.
