Job summary

Smile Doctors, LLC is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I in Wheaton, IL to support daily patient care under the Orthodontist's supervision. You will assist with appliances, review records, and participate in remote monitoring while maintaining strict infection control.

The role requires a high school diploma with dental experience preferred; CPR may be required by the state, and coronal polishing certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize, clean and prepare equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
