Job summary

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to deliver positive clinical experiences while following company policies and state regulations under the direction of an Orthodontist. You will assist with appliances, take records, maintain patient flow, and educate patients on care and remote monitoring.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and orthodontic experience or equivalent, with required certifications as dictated by state boards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of orthodontic experience or six months as Smile Doctors’ Orthodontic Clinician I.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with accurate charting and data transcription.
• Prepare, sterilize, and prepare equipment; assist with laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist in patient flow and lead checks on patients during visits.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring; triage patient messages.
• Support local store marketing and community events and adhere to infection-control protocols.
