Job summary

Franklin Dental and Braces - Savannah is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our Savannah team. This 32-hour-per-week role supports patient care, assists clinicians, takes X-rays, educates patients, and helps prep for procedures in a pediatric-friendly environment.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, participate in morning huddles, and deliver compassionate, high-quality orthodontic care while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (State dependent).
• Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting.
• CPR/BLS Certification Required.
• Willing to travel in territory assigned to team.
• High focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Must love working with children.
• Integrity and dependable work ethic.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Assist professional dental staff with treatment.
• Document patient information and treatment plans in charts.
