Job summary

Long Wharf Dental and Huntington Family Dental are seeking a skilled Part-Time Oral Surgeon to support two established practices in Connecticut. You will provide oral and maxillofacial surgical care with full clinical autonomy, handling implants, third molar removals, and related procedures.

The role is 4 days per month (2 days at Long Wharf Dental and 2 days at Huntington Family Dental) with a strong referral network and a patient-centric culture.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Certificate for an accredited US Oral Surgery Residency Program.
• Active dental license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral and maxillofacial surgical specialty care.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of oral and maxillofacial conditions.
• Perform procedures including dental implants, third molar removal, and related surgical treatments.
• Develop and present treatment plans based on clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging.
• Educate patients on procedures, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate closely with referring dentists and in-office clinical teams.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and surgical excellence.
• Remain current with evolving technologies and standards of care through continuing education.
