Job summary

Union Family Dental LLC is seeking a Part-Time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our Union, New Jersey practice. The role offers a flexible schedule of one or two Thursdays per month with in-person care and potential for additional days as patient demand grows.

The ideal candidate will hold an OMFS residency, an active NJ license, DEA registration, and board certification or eligibility, with strong surgical skills in extractions, implants, and bone grafting. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution.
• Completed OMFS residency.
• Active NJ dental license and DEA registration.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in OMFS.
• Current BLS certification and professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including extractions, implants, and bone grafting.
• Conduct consultations, examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Evaluate radiographs to determine appropriate treatment.
• Administer local anesthesia and sedation per privileges and regulations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
