Job summary

Squire Dental in New Jersey is seeking an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to support one to two dental offices. The role offers strong clinical autonomy, flexible days, and a focus on exceptional patient care.

The position is part-time, with an emphasis on approximately four days per month based on office needs and your availability. NJ license and OMFS residency are required, with opportunity to expand hours as desired.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
• Active New Jersey dental license or eligibility to obtain one before starting.
• Applicable anesthesia permits and credentials for the services provided.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, review histories and imaging, and develop surgical plans.
• Perform OMFS procedures within training and privileges.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate care.
• Administer local, sedation, or general anesthesia as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment recommendations.
• Prescribe medications to support recovery and manage pain.
• Provide preoperative instructions and postoperative care.
