Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the operating room team in Truckee, CA. The role supports patients undergoing operative procedures, scrub and circulate most surgical cases, and coordinates care with the multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has an ASA-credentialed OR background, CA RN license in good standing, and is prepared to participate in BLS/ACLS training as required by the unit.

Qualifications

• One year minimum operating room experience.
• California Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/ACLS required or pursued as per program timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and psychosocial needs before, during, and after procedures.
• Plan, document, and implement individual nursing care plans for operative patients.
• Scrub and circulate all operative services (excluding neuro and cardiac) and coordinate with the team.
