Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in New Bern, NC.

This clinic-based role offers flexible scheduling with 1–2 visits per month on weekdays, no nights or weekends, and no billing or administrative responsibilities. You’ll be part of a coordinated team focused on senior patients, with support for equipment, scheduling and billing logistics.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Active NC optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting.
