Job summary

CompMobileCare is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our outpatient clinic in Evansville, IN. You will provide comprehensive eye exams to residents in long-term care and community settings with full support from a trained clinical assistant and no administrative burden.

This role offers a flexible schedule, a daily rate of $1,100, and meaningful, mission-driven work serving underserved populations. All equipment is provided, and you will work independently with predictable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required.
• Comfortable working with elderly patients, including those with dementia.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Malpractice coverage (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams to residents in long-term care and community-based settings.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with full support from a trained clinical assistant.
• Document findings and coordinate referrals for glaucoma or other conditions outside routine scope.
• Work independently with predictable scheduling and no administrative burden.
