Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Optometrist to join our mobile care team in Jeffersonville, IN. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

You will conduct routine eye exams, manage ocular diseases, and educate patients while all logistical responsibilities are handled by CMC. Flexibility is key as the position involves 1–2 visits per month with typical hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions common among geriatric patients.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with optical labs as needed.
• Educate patients and facility staff on eye health and preventive care practices.

Skills

Education

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

Active Indiana optometry license
