Job summary

The Eye Center of Clark in Clark, New Jersey is seeking an Associate Optometrist for an urgent opportunity with a start date between November and early December. This well‑established, community‑focused practice values high‑quality patient care, collaboration, and a medically oriented approach to optometry.

You will perform comprehensive exams, prescribe glasses/contacts, manage ocular disease, and maintain EMRs using autorefractor, Optos, Zeiss OCT, and Humphrey VF; about 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Licensed optometrist in New Jersey (OD).
• Strong communication and patient‑care focus.
• Experience with medical records/EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses; manage ocular disease.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and collaborate with healthcare team.
