Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice optometry in California with TPA certification.
• Experience in medical optometry and surgical co-management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with ocular surface diseases.
• Oversee post-operative follow-ups for eyelid surgeries.
• Interpret and bill for extended diagnostic tests.
• Perform minor office procedures within California optometric scope.
• Screen and refer candidates for surgical procedures.
• Ensure accurate electronic medical records and billing compliance.
