Job summary

Adventure Dental and Vision in Commerce City, CO is currently seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care. This is a part-time opportunity for 1-2 days per week, and/or Saturdays, and/or PRN. Pay range: $500-$650/day.

Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related conditions, and developing treatment plans while guiding staff to assist in patient care. State optometry license required.

Qualifications

• State optometry license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire Medicaid provider number and NPI.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care by promptly addressing patient and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and perform necessary procedures.
• Provide comprehensive vision treatment plans using clinical techniques.
• Foster teammate satisfaction and retention through leadership and feedback.
• Arrange referrals to vision specialists when appropriate.
• Prepare patient case files with medical history and eye health updates.
