Job summary

The University of Kansas Edwards Campus invites qualified scholars and professionals with experience in operations management to submit applications for a pool of part-time Instructor positions. Instructors teach undergraduate courses, in-person or online, and are not on a tenure track.

Instructors are placed in single-term appointments, with renewal based on unit needs, funding, and performance, not to exceed two consecutive semesters.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in operations management or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares and presents lectures for one undergraduate or graduate course in operations management.
• Develops assignments, projects and exams; supervises projects and provides feedback.
• Maintains technologies, including a learning management system and a classroom lecture recording system.
