Job summary

The Part-time Operations Support/Product Runner at M. J. Kellner Foodservice assists the Sales and Operations teams by delivering products to customers when shorted or in need of emergency deliveries to ensure continued exceptional service.

Located in Springfield, IL, this role supports warehouse and field operations with daily local travel within a 150-mile radius and requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of work experience in the workforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives product to customers or sales consultants for special deliveries.
• Assists warehouse staff with sweeping, trash disposal, and general upkeep.
• Uses company vehicles safely as instructed.
• Provides general support to the team.
• Assists Customer Service Supervisor as needed.
• Supports VP of Transportation and VP of Foodservice Sales as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Exhibits safe driving, problem-solving, time management, and ethical conduct.
• Role operates in outdoor, warehouse, and office settings.
