Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's Recreational Sports department is hiring part-time Operations Assistants. This in-person, on-campus role supports health and safety, teamwork, and customer service in a busy facility.

Average 10-12 hours per week (not to exceed 29), $12.00 per hour, with opportunities to work at SRSC, Bill Garrett Fieldhouse, and University Gym during events.

Qualifications

• General knowledge at the high school level.
• Some college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and safety of equipment and spaces; documents cleaning activities.
• Assists with event, class, and activity setup.
• Provides excellent customer service to facility users.
• Responds to accidents or emergencies per safety protocols.
• Stays informed about programs and services to answer questions.
• Participates in team meetings and training to stay connected.
• Supports additional tasks and projects to assist the team.
