Qualifications

• Education and Experience Required: DDS/DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program or equivalent foreign degree.
• Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: Current MS Dental license or must be obtained post-hire within 90 days.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in didactic and/or clinical instruction and active involvement in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: Develop and deliver course content according to approved syllabi and teach assigned classes with attendance and punctuality.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess academic achievement and adjust teaching techniques based on feedback.
• Curriculum Development: Participate in creating and improving the department curriculum based on outcomes and trends.
• Reporting: Submit attendance, grades, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Meetings & Collaboration: Attend department meetings and contribute to program goals and curriculum reviews.
• Professional Development: Stay current with trends in dentistry and teaching methodologies.
• Service: Participate in college and community service and committees.
• Leadership: Exhibit professionalism and foster a learning environment for student growth.
• Administrative Duties: Report to the Department Chair and communicate on goals and objectives.
• Clinical Duties: Deliver care within University Dentists faculty practice with high-quality patient care.
