The candidate will have a DDS/DMD, licensure in Mississippi (or obtained within 90 days), and experience in teaching and clinical instruction.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from CODA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Current MS Dental license or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in didactic or clinical instruction of dental students.
• Active involvement in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and deliver content according to approved syllabi.
• Assess student academic achievement and adjust teaching techniques.
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluation based on outcomes.
• Submit attendance, grades and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate in department meetings to improve program goals and outcomes.
• Deliver patient care within the School of Dentistry’s faculty practice.
