Qualifications

• Familiarity with Canvas learning management system.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned in accordance with SAE policies and procedures.
• Deliver instruction in alignment with the Student-Centered Active Education model.
• Establish a classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement.
• Contribute to learning culture through academic advising, curriculum development, and campus events.
• Maintain attendance records, submit grades on time, and enforce SAE policies.
• Plan and prepare for classes and student success with activities aligned to outcomes.
• Advise and support absent and high-risk students and document contacts.
• Complete faculty development activities annually to improve instructional delivery.
• Maintain instructor eligibility per regulations.
• For full-time instructors, supervise makeup sessions, provide tutoring and advising, support clubs, and substitute when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
