Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an onsite Staff Nurse in Janesville, WI for part-time hours (20 per week). The role involves comprehensive nursing care, medication administration, patient education, and collaborative practice with interdisciplinary teams.

The position offers additional pay: $2 hourly for advanced level plus $3 hourly for approved certifications, with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved techniques and policies.
• Document accurately and completely in accordance with standards of care.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and engagement in care.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
