Follett Content Solutions is hiring a part-time Custodian in McHenry, IL. The role is onsite, Mon-Fri 8:00am–12:00pm, non-exempt, with an hourly pay range of $17.00 to $22.00. Benefits are offered; position could turn into a longer role for the right person.

Qualifications

• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuum floor scrubbers/pressure washers.
• Read and use cleaning chemicals safely according to SDS.
• Follow safety rules, PPE, and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain Cleaning Logs and completed checklists.
• Identify/report maintenance issues or supply shortages.
• Perform other duties to support facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean the main lobby area and all general entry areas in the warehouse; vacuum entrance mats.
• Sweep and mop break areas; sanitize lunch tables; assemble/disassemble outdoor umbrellas.
• Stock copy paper; clean grounds and pick up debris.
• Empty/re-line trash and recycle bins in warehouse, office, and cafeteria.
• Clean warehouse rear stairwell, hallways, and exterior docks as needed.
• Wipe computer kiosks; clean office/mechanical rooms as assigned.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies daily.
