Qualifications

• RHIT, CPC and CPB credentials required.
• Experience teaching in a community college or university setting preferred.
• Online teaching experience and ability to engage diverse learners.
• Familiarity with health information management curricula and program outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teaches classes as assigned, following current approved course outlines.
• Meets during scheduled class times.
• Prepares and develops materials for assigned classes/labs according to program expectations.
• Provides students with class syllabi.
• Delivers course content using appropriate methods for student needs and program curriculum.
• Maintains student records of grades and attendance as per college procedures.
• Responds to student inquiries and provides timely feedback.
